Icelandic pancakes are a family tradition and the recipes go from one generation to another. Rolled up with sugar, they make an excellent addition to afternoon tea (or coffee, depending on your preferences). Spread with jam and folded up with whipped cream, they are a delicacy fit for festive occasions. The Icelandic pancake pan has been one of the corner stones of Icelandic food culture for decades. A good pan can be handed down from generation to generation and is a „must have” in any household. Here you will get an opportunity to be introduced to a traditional Icelandic pancake making in an Icelandic home with a recipe that has been passed on for at least 5 generations.
This cooking class is suitable for everyone, including beginners with no cooking/baking experience whatsoever! This introduction is limited to 6 persons.
The cost is ISK 5000. Included: An introduction to how to make Icelandic pancakes. Coffee/tea and pancakes.
